Northern Monk is an independent brewery proudly based in Leeds, focused on creating the best beer experiences in the world.

Inspired by our northern surroundings and the history of monastic brewing practised across the region for thousands of years, we commit ourselves to creating the highest quality beers, combining the best of traditional monastic brewing values with a progressive approach to ingredients and techniques.

In 2014, Northern Monk was truly born. We found our home and our own brewery was set up in a Grade II listed abandoned mill building in Leeds, The Old Flax Store. It’s still their home today.

The culmination of a year’s R&D, we can finally bring you Faith, free of alcohol.

Pushing traditional brewing techniques to extremes allowed us to build up a surprisingly robust base, with oats for that silky mouthfeel associated with NE styles and maltodextrin to further bulk out the body, while a touch of caramel malt brings some colour and sweetness.

We hopped with Citra Cryo and El Dorado, which bring notes of lemongrass, citrus zest and a light peppery finish over bready malt flavours.
