A 30 percent cocoa hot chocolate, named for the radio call that gives the green light to engage. Scoop into hot milk or water, stir, drink. Build it into a mocha with a shot of Contact Coffee for the days when one cup isn't going to cut it.
Cleared Hot, explained
The term is the radio authorisation to engage a target. When someone says Cleared Hot, the rules of engagement are met and the weapon can be released. We named the hot chocolate for the same reason we name the coffee for callsigns: it does what it says.
How to make it
- Hot chocolate: scoop into hot milk or hot water, stir.
- Mocha: pour a shot of strong Contact Coffee into the mug first, then add Cleared Hot and hot milk. Stir.
